Mistletoe Awards

We would like to recognise examples of good reporting, policy or practice that properly acknowledges the extent to which men are on the receiving end of domestic abuse or violence. We understand that for many individuals and agencies that means swimming against the tide.

We hope our MIStletoe Awards will reward the brave few and encourage others.

We welcome nominations from our visitors and supporters to meninscotland@googlemail.com.

  1. Families Need Fathers Scotland has secured funding for an office and staff in Edinburgh. Our next meeting is 7pm Monday 11th Jan 2010 at the Mercat Bar, Edinburgh. FNF supports separated family members, usually fathers, who wish to maintain their relationships with their children. FNF recognises the particular difficulties of those doing this in the context of previous, or ongoing, domestic abuse.
